I am an enthusiastic developer and designer, and am described by employers as personable, motivated and a good communicator.
Although I enjoy working within teams (development and multi-disciplinary), I am also comfortable working on my own initiative and focus well on solo projects and tasks. I have been designing and developing websites for several years, honing and developing my skills throughout my professional career and exploring different technologies and tools available.
As well as the permanent and contract positions I have held, I have also been commissioned as a freelance designer/developer, creating websites and corporate branding. These have involved the use of back-end technologies such as C# and the .NET framework.

- Advanced knowledge of accessibility issues and experience of conformance to industry standards, including creating screen-reader compatible content structures.

- Development of server-side applications using the .NET Frameworks with ASP.NET and C#.
- Development of pages and controls used to create data-driven web applications, including marshalling data from remote services and dynamic control/page build.
